This past weekend I blew several months of plant allowance at an Orchid Society show and Sale. Here are few shots of the new chids' I added to my collection. The little purple Vanda has the strongest grape fragrance. There are more pictures on the blog as well.

Your Vanda is gorgeous! :D I've got it on my wish-list, but they're way to expensive. Is the yellow one an Oncidium? They're my husband's favourite. He claims they resemble dancing ladies. The Dendrobium looks unusal in it's colouring. What's the last one? It's so beautiful. :D

Those are gorgeous! One day I'll try Orchid's again-it didn't work out too well the last time.

The yellow 1 is a Oncidium Makali 'Gotom' X Brs. Rex 'Sakata'. I also call them dancing ladies. The last are Blc. Husky Boy 'Romeo' HCC/AOS. The guy had a box with 10 of these. 9 were the light yellow and 1 was this gold color so I had to buy 2. They are little shorties but the flowers are pretty large for the size of the plant. Here is 1 more dancing lady for your husband. This is a Mtssa. Charles M. Fitch 'Izumi'
