I found a bowling ball!! :p Called the bowling alley and ask how and when do they dispose of old bowling balls. The man said 'we don't get rid of them' Then he asked how many I needed and I said 'only one'. He said' well come and get it' So now I will be making a gazing ball and hopefully it will be half as pretty and nice as those that I have seen here :stew2:

Oh good you got one. What are your plans for it, paint or the glass half marbles?

The flat marbles. I am so happy to have 'sweet' talked the man into giving it up! It is a 14 pounder  I ask him if he had a lighter one and he said he saves all those for the kids to use :(

Slowly but surely ... got my grout and glass marbles today, so maybe one of these days, I'll 'git'er done'.That's Texas talk as well as Larry the Cable Guy!!! I have several other things I am trying to do as the weather gets nicer. At least I hope it stays this way. Beautiful today. So I do one thing and let it dry and go to another and back and forth

Congrats on getting a bowling ball. Took me years to find one and then I found them everywhere. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
