The Good Day All Thread

Good morning from the city. One more day here and back home tomorrow. 18 F (-8 C) the snow that fell a few days ago, was very wet, and compacted down to less than half of what fell. Plus the sun is out, and has some good melting power even with the cold temperatures. So the 16 inches that fell is down to 5 or 6. have a good one.

(Actually it is already late afternoon here) I again had to contend with our electricity being off due to loadshedding. But that is all over now and I actually need to decide on what to make for supper.
THe day was rather windy making it quite unpleasant to be working outside in the garden as I intended to. Well thisonly means that I will have to make more time during the week.
(I really need to find a store that will sell a few hours extra in a day.)

Its cool,and calling for snow....i am soooooo sick of snow right now!

 

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. There is another winter storm on the way for this afternoon and tonight. I am also SOOO sick of snow!

Good Morning! Got down in the 20's last night, and my poor pansies can't take much more. Been on tidy-up patrol around the place, pulling dandelions mostly. Off to spend a day grocery/Viola shopping with DD (always a challenge, never know where her curiosity will lead!)

 

Good morning! Another beautiful sunny day here with temps going to 75. I hope they stay that way. There are some clouds in next weeks forecast. I hope they bring rain. (NO SNOW) I watered everything good yesterday so shouldn't have to do that again until Friday or Sunday. Have a great day! dooley

First I managed to fix my security light and slept well last night.
Right now I am enjoying a huge mug of tea while I am stewing.
The Expected temperature high for today is 28 degrees C. However I think it might go higher.

 

Top of the morning to you all . . . It is 44 degrees Anyway, we are supposed to get up to 67 by 4:00 PM . . . We are leaving for St. Petersburg and Sanford, Florida today!!! Hopefully I will have access to a computer so I can stew a little with my friends here while I'm gone. Be blessed today! SoJ

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -2°C with sun and north west winds. Yesterday's winter storm was a scary one to say the least! I can't remember EVER having such strong winds from the south. Everything seems to be Ok and I'm just glad it's over. Spring can arrive here any time now...I'm more than ready!
