HI Group, newbie here, just joined to see if I couldn't get more info on gardening in my area. I have loads of questions, so hope you don't mind me jumping in with them.

Hi Francine, welcome to the Stew from north Texas.
Ask away, always someone here who can come up with the answers you need.

Do you have any other hobbies besides gardening? Pets?

Not really, that pretty much takes up most of my time. I run a small rescue from my home for the local dogs in my area. So that takes up most of my time. Then with gardening and just going on get lost trips around the country. I don't have much outside of that. I want to some day own and run a small farm. But for now I will just stick with my small zoo. :)

WELCOME Francine. It's lovely to have you here with us at GardenStew. :D Running a rescue centre is a wonderful thing to do with your time. Is it just domestic animals that you have or do you rehabilitate wildlife too?

Thanks for all your warm welcome. Eileen I have done wild bunnies, and birds. But not that often, only when I have actually found them in need. I pretty much stick with dogs. Though I would like to get into any animal in need. But my husband has called it quits on just my dogs. LOL He always says if he would let me. I would have a whole zoo, and that is pretty much true. ;-)
