... I present to you our flowers today.

A couple of overviews. Things aren't that far along yet:

The Weigelia bush. We've got a pink one too, but that's later:

    The ornamental apple tree:

This is the Prunus padus tree that tells me when to sow outside:

The Trolliuses, they're actually different shades of yellow:

    The green-and-white Arisaema:

    The brown-striped Arisaema:

The little Violas underneath the apple tree:

    Anemone trullifolia is blooming:

The earliest orchid is starting too:

I don't know what this is called, my memory you know:

    Trillium flexipes:

    Trillium erectum:

    Cream Meconopsis looking better:

The blue M. x lingholm starting:

The Corydalis flexuosa and I don't remember which one:

This is five Lilium longiflorum bulbs, four different Lilium "Tango"-type bulbs and six hollyhocks. Hollyhocks! It's the Stewbies' fault for showing such lovely photos of them, and my husband says I'm not allowed to play with you any more :D

Thank you for showing us what you have so far Droopy. The hollyhocks, another of my favorite, you will love them and I can't wait to see some pics. Such nice color you have already. Can't wait to see these shots again with more blooms. Have a great trip.

Well, what a bedazzling array of plants and flowers you have going there. I just scrioll up and down...down and up...etc,etc. There are some real exotic-looking gems there.
That Corydalis flexuosa had better not be the Corydalis x flexuosa elata. heh heh heh.
The Meconopsis lingholm is just beginning to do something spectacular, isn't it? Do they prefer partial shade or full sun?
I have some seeds that I am trying to get to germinate this year. Apparently they are notoriuously difficult. Well, thy're incubating, but so far no green.

Your Trolliuses seem so short. I have some as well, but they are supposed to be taller, I believe. Perhaps it's a different species.

Thank you very much for posting these...and have a great few days' vacation. We shall miss you.

Oh Droopy what wonderful plants you have!! My arisaemas are flowering at the moment - aren't they just the most wonderful plants? :D Your hostas look really lush - mine tend to get munched on by slugs and snails quite a bit. How do you keep yours looking soooo good? Thank you for posting your photographs for us all.

BTW tell that husband of yours I'll get my two strapping sons to come sort him out if he won't let you play with him any more. ;) ;)

I hope you have a lovely time while you're away but we'll most definately miss you.

Thanks all, and I'm going to Lillehammer for the week-end to play. Glendann's on another continent waiting for dooley, and I it's a bit far for just one weekend. :D

Sjoerd, it's not the elata. :D The Meconopsis are in full sun, but that's not saying a lot where I live. The Trollius are about 50 cm/20 inches tall, and are quite big plants now.

Eileen, I kill slugs mercilessly every evening, and my husband's put out slug traps. We've got a lot of hostas, and I guess the slugs are just spoilt for choice now. We like the Arisaema, and are on the look-out for more of them.

Since my husband likes plants with big, colourful flowers, I'm sure he'll like the hollyhocks once they bloom.

Have a great time in Lillehammer, and relax. After seeing all those flowers you deserve it! Have a wonderful time you and your husband. And drive safe. Use the seatbelts. Careful of the other guy. No speeding. Both hands on the steering wheel. And,,,,,,,

:D Yes, we'll be careful! The old camper van won't go fast anyway, and the roads aren't made for speed. I'll have to snap some photos of our main connection with the rest of Norway. :D It's unbelievably bad!

lol,, most of the roads up this way is dirt roads,, our main roads are full of pot hole from the ice in winter. I think we have one or two that are pretty good. We only have one main road, E10, which passes right out front of the drive. then just a lot of little off shoot roads to homes or communities.

Ohh yeah our main road can only fit one car in places,,,,lol.

Have fun! Thanks for sharing the pics. As always, I'm left envious and salivating and I'm trying to figure out different ways to say it because I'm sure it gets old :)

Looks like you're quite the plant collector. Lots of unusual varieties, and they all look happy! We're off, too, next week for 2 1/2 weeks...not a good time to be going on vacation but I have good friends to take care of my dogs and plants. The temps are still quite cool here, and we're still getting frost warnings at night. Sounds like a dry Memorial Day weekend, though, and I have a lot of things to do before our trip. Have a great vacation!
