After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members on how to make my garden more exciting. We have spent many hours planting flowers and growing veggies. Still, I am always open for new suggestions. Living in the rain forest, things grow so fast.

    Best regards,

    Richard

Welcome to GardenStew Richard. :-D You must show us some photographs of your garden and also some pictures of your local flora and fauna. I love to see what people in other countries can produce and what native wildlife they have. Looking forward to getting to know you. :stew2:

    Eileen,

Thank you for your reply and warm welcome.

I will let my girlfriend take the pictures. If my friends in Philadelphia heard me talking about my beautiful garden, I would never hear the end of it.

Hopefully, you can come and visit one day. Costa Rica has some of the most amazing plants and wildlife.

    Best regards,

    Richard

Thanks everyone. Good to be here.

    Griphook

Not really a problem if you know who to relate to a monkey. Do not leave anything where a monkey can grab it. Be careful not to bother a mother with it's kids and finally, share a banana if you have one available. They will greatly appreciate it.

The monkeys look so cool swinging from the trees! What about your plants and garden do they every bother? We live at a private airport community here in the desert and we have gated access...........well, there is a wall but they leave overlapping gaps so the wildlife can get in and out. We had a Javelina invasion last night
(they run in heards usually) so this morning I woke up to empty flower pots!!!! :smt015 :smt022
I am curious if monkeys like any garden foods!?!?!

I am actually quite familiar to where you live. Beautiful place to be.

My Mother lives at Gainey Ranch and I come to visit every 3 months.
