    Good Morning/Afternoon all Garden/Flower friends! Hope everyone is having a great Monday ~~ our forecast highs for Carefree are not to reach three digits this week yet but close today: 98F/37C and a whopping 17% humidity with clear blue skies. I envy all you that are getting rain today!
    We went to friends last night and had some wine :setf_056: so I missed the AM heat cutoff for walking here(out by 5AM)....guess it will be an indoor elliptical day!

    Good morning to my online family, I've slept like a log and have had the phone turned off for the first time in weeks. :D Today's going to be sweltering. Already past 18 deg C/64 deg F and it's only 9. :eek:

    Good morning all. Beginning of another hot day...I wonder just how many different ways can I say that, guess we will find out over the course of what is looking to be a very long and very hot summer.

    No yard work today. I have three batches of Strawberry jam to make for Lisa's birthday on Monday and pickup the grandson's from school this afternoon.

    Good morning! I've been out and finished planting the plants I bought on Sunday. Now I've got to get some pots together and get some things started. I'm doing everything in pots this year as it's easier to water and I can tote them from here to there if the sun is too hot for them. Also, with my bad knee I can dig with my shovels anymore. I'm thinking of fencing the asparagus area in the garden and then letting the garden go back to grass. It's mostly grass and hollyhocks now anyway. Have a nice day. dooley

    Good morning all.
    It was sizzling yesterday at 99F/37c and will be so again today. But it is very windy too so the breeze will feel good. All I am doing outside today is staking the Glads that are top heavy, pulling a few weeds, repotting the new plants and watering the garden.
    Then back inside to finish the strawberry jam.

    Good morning everyone. Very rainy and chilly here in Vermont. ...but the good news it will be in the 90's and humid by Saturday. Our seasons go from cold to HOT in weeks. Everyone have a good day! ;)
