I've had a Toro push mower for 11 years that has never needed any repairs. Just added some oil once or twice. It takes more than 1 pull to start it now, 2 or 3, but I guess an 11 year old sparkplug may just need replacing!

I would agree you should also change the fuel filter.

I have been using a robot lawn mower for a while now and it's great! I was just tired of pushing the lawn mower around for so many years. This lawn mower definitely changed my gardening experience and saved me so much time.

    Which Lawn Mower to Buy

I've had my TORO lawn mower for 10 years. I used it for 3 years mowing lawns for a living. So it has a lot of hours on it. The main thing is spend the money for a durable mower if you have a large lawn. Maintenance is the other key to success. Change the oil regularly, clean the air filter, replace the fuel filter once a year, and sharpen the blade. Sharpening the blade will reduce the work load of the engine.

If you have a small amount of lawn you might want to consider an electric mower. With everyone going "Green" you will be a hero on your block. Earthwise 20-Inch 24 Volt Cordless Electric 3-in-1 Lawn Mower with Grass Bag

Like this mower www.neutonpower.com or a reel mower if your yard is not that big.

It all depends on your budget.
Honda makes some good commercial grade mowers but they certainly are not cheap. Out side of going more towards a commercial grade, they all pretty much do the same thing. Maintenance is the most important aspect of it all.

It really depends on your budget & what you'll use it for.

We use Honda commercial mowers. They're heavy, but tough as nails. Look after them & they'll last for years.

From experience, you really do get what you pay for.

Honda seem to be a good brand of lawn mower to have. They produce a wide range of groundcare machinery, mowers and turf management equipment so you'll have plenty of choice. All of their machines will be of high quality so you know you will get your moneys worth.
