I hired a neighbor to weedeat my yard cuz I dont have a weedeatter (whatever they are called). I hired him because he runs a "professional" lawn service company. I just went out there to take pics of all my rose buds and I thought I would take a pic of my passion vine cuz Its been growing so fast. While I was taking the pic, I noticed one part of the vine was wilting so I went to get a closer look....AND THAT IDIOT CUT MY PASSION VINE!!!!!!!! I lost two huge long parts of my vine!!!!! And it was full of buds too!!! First pic when I noticed something wrong After I pulled the cut pieces off The two pieces I lost Im so mad I could spit nails!!!
LOL Im not that bad. But Ive worked so hard out there and Ive babied that vine only to have some yahoo cut it! Theres a very larger slice in the base of the vine, the main trunk. I hope it doesnt die. Then Ill be really pissed off! HE wont be doing my yard agian, thats for sure!
I'm serious, if you let him get away with it, the swine will do it to someone else... and on it goes. You could also let rip on http://www.complaints.com/ I hope you do it's the only way to stop the cowboys. Hope you enjoyed having a rant
I did enjoy ranting but I dont feel any better! Im going to go have a talk with the guy when he gets home. I want some of money back! Its not the only plant he cut! Two of my banana pups leaves, alot of my elephant ears are missing leaves, my bird of paradise is missing leaves and baby stalks, two of my rose bushes are missing thier lower branches, all the tops of my sweet peas are gone and one of my gingers leaves is all chewed up and quite a few of my petunias leaves and branches are missing. :-x I went and took stock. He will not be in my yard again! And Im warning all my nieghbors. Ill be back out there with my scissors from now on to trim around the plants.
Oh Denee!! :'( I feel so sorry for you!! That's really a shame that you paid the guy to do a professional job and he butchered all of your plants that way!!! He doesn't sound like he is very professional to me!! I say we should all go after him and butcher his weedeatter!! I hope your passion vine gets along ok!!
Awwww that's dreadful!! Some professional!!!! Even Ian wouldn't do that 'cause he knows I'd cut some of his bits off if he did!!! I hope he gives you your money back - all of it - after what he did. Let us know how you get on won't you? I hope all your plants (especially the passion vine) survive.
I got $15 back of the $30 I gave him. So thats something I guess. But I paid $19. for my passion vine!
He better have apologised profusely as well!!!! I'd bill him for any new plants you need to buy too. I'm glad you got half of your money back and I hope you warn everyone about what he does to plants.

Oh no! He didnt tell me! I noticed something was wrong when I went to get a pic of it. The leaves werent standing straight. Oh yeah, I know what every one of my plants are suppose to look like! I glace at everything every time I go outside. I will notice something wrong. But because it was raining, I hadnt gone outside until that moment when the rain let up.
