10 Earthquakes in north Texas

    Yep, not only do we sometimes get a hurricane blowing thru and frequently get tornadoes twisting across us, we also have earthquakes rattling the walls too. Very few and far between but they do happen.

    There were some 2.5 and 3.0 quakes on Friday and the rest on Saturday and Sunday were in the 2.5 range.
    Best I can tell the closest one to me was about 10 miles away but we didn't feel anything here.

    No damage but they did set off car alarms all over the areas involved.

    wow toni! glad you're ok. you must be near the fault line that north and south runs through the middle of the country?

    Earthquakes scare me...tornadoes do too but not as much..Glad it was not any closer to you and that you are alright...
