DH saw her first today. Said he'd been seeing something around the yard/window for the last three days but wasn't sure what-didn't get a good look. Well, she's here now, and early, too. Usually don't see her till 2nd or third week in May. Nothing really blooming yet but feeder was up and she went to that frequently (3:1 ratio, to start). So glad she's back. Love those little things. Guess I'm easy to please, huh?

I guess the hummers are back. I saw one at a Quince bush yesterday. They are delightful creatures to see. It would not be springtime without them.

Jan you must try to get a photogrph for us. We don't have hummingbirds here in Scotland so look forward to seeing the ones that visit others gardens.

Hi Jan...I was happy to see my first hummingbird of the season this morning too...I have had my feeders up for about 3 weeks now....and have been patiently waiting.

Just heard from a friend on the other side of town that she got her Orioles on Monday so mine will be any time now. I love this time of year....a little warmer weather would be appreciated. :-D

Still waiting to see the first Hummer here. I thought I heard one last week so I put the feeders out, but still none. Good thing in a way ... it's still so cold here and not much is blooming for them yet. I'll keep the feeders full just in case!

I saw my first one today. Took me by surprise. It was buzzing a sun catcher. Tomorrow I will fill a feeder for them.
