    OK I'm going to have a stab at your fluffy white flowers Poppy. I think they may be Fothergilla - probably Fothergilla Gardeni. A member of the Hamamelis family indigenous to some of the central American states. Good autumn leaf colour.
    Hope I'm right this time.

    I think ive got it eileen after a lot of googling ive come up with
    Columbine meadow rue please correct me if im wrong :-D

    Soooo, wait a minute. I am now finding photos identified as the Columbine Meadow Rue with leaves that look nothing like the one I posted the link for.

    Scratch what the other post of mine, I will do some more searching when I get back this afternoon.
    It could be a case of common name mixup or something.
