Hiya all, this is my second thread. I actually wanted to show off this awesome beauty that bloomed this morning on my rooftop!

Plus I bought this 'flower' plant 2 years back, can't recall what is it. Any help people? :)

oubee, That is a most beautiful flower. I can't help you with the id but I am watching carefully all the new posts to learn what it is and rest assured, I will have many of these in my garden as soon as I can.

@ stratsmom: Googled it up. Yeah, seems like it! The single white mini-petal in the middle gives it away :)

@ barb: it definitely is a beauty. I indeed let out an excited EEEEEE when I caught a glimpse of four of these in my garden this morning. You should totally go for them. If I lived closer, I'd post some over to you. They are bulbs, so you can be sure to get plenty of them in no time. I got them from a neighbour. She planted them alongside her alley and when they bloomed, it was quite a sight!

I was just reading up more about my lily. It sure does have a lovely fragrance :stew1:

The flowers typically last only for a day or two; but new flowers may appear in a succession of blooms, especially during humid or rainy weather.
Aww I wish mine are still up tomorrow morning. I gotta strut around holding the pot for everyone to see and compliment me about :D

Any help with the second pic?

Kinda difficult to tell from just THAT pic. It's also backlit. Try to take more pics where there's no sun.
And maybe the roots could be a good hint.

Hi Calin. Ya, will take more pics. It's no bulb and is not deep-rooted and I started out with one plant only and yesterday when I transplanted, I found I had 3 extra plants :) Once the main plant had flowered. The flower had 'stemmed' out from the middle leaf.

Your beauty is very beautiful! :D

I don't know about that second plant either, it's hard to tell in that stage.
