    Brodaea laxa is the blue one, or sometimes sold as Tritelia, possibly the form labelled Queen Fabiola.
    No good on roses,sorry.

    We call the Brodaea Laxa Harvert Lily here in Scotland. I think it's because they flower just when the crops are gathered in. They're very pretty and a lovely, striking blue.

    The rose could be 'Stars and stripes' - have a look at this website as it has a variety of striped rose pictures.
