Hi everyone! Well I found some brussel sprouts, But!!! they are kind of Closed up in the middle like they are already forming a sprout ,so is this plant any good or are they no good. they look healthy other than that what do you all think? I have never had any like this, I am planting them but really worried about them,Please help, Thank you Margie :-? :-?
Margie, If these are brussel sprouts the center will be producing leaves not the sprouts. The sprouts will form along the stalk at each leaf petiole. In the late summer (sept.) pinch the center out and the sprouts will then start to form on the stalks.
