Phew that was quick wasn't it. Although not as quick as 15000 to 20000. But surprisingly quick in the low months of August-September. Can we reach 40000 by the end of the year? I think so. And we WILL break 100,000 next year ;) (yes that's 5 zeros)

365 does not seem like very many. Is it? Between just Frank and Eileen there are @ 8000. Whew.

26 Jan 2005 Jan. But it took over a year to build it from nothing to a hive of activity. In the early days it was pretty much Eileen and I talking to ourselves but then others like Capt Kirk, Dooley, Toni etc... came along and it started to pick up. These things take time especially with no existing userbase to draw from. But then they tend to snowball like now. Not complaining ;)

You have done a wonderful job!! I write for another website, bellaonline.com, also a non commercial site, except for the writers who can advertise and sell all they want. The webmaster, who is great, could take a few lessons from you. I love how this is set up. Easy to navigate and learn.

Thanks Jan  It's been through quite a few redesigns since the start but I think the current design is a winner and I'm not likely to be changing it anytime soon. Except when new functionality needs to added of course. Everyday brings new challenges!

I have great moderation help from Eileen, let's not forget that :)

I have been here a very short time and for a bit did not think I would have time to stay. I was made to feel so welcome, I found time and am so glad I did.

And we're glad you did Jan. I see you joined on the 5th August, it seems much longer ago than that. Time seems to expand in the Stew :)
