50 cent hibiscus

    This is my other 50 cent hibiscus that i picked up off the clearance rack last Fall.

    pink hibiscus ( photo / image / picture from carolyn keiper's Garden )

    there are actually two plants in this pot. the other one is creamy white double flower with a very small pink throat.

    Beautiful!! The plants at that price on the sale rack are usually in very bad condition, you did a fantastic job of giving it a new life.

    Money well spent! I love to hear "rescue" stories about plants. You did very, very well with your hibiscus.

    The plant obviously thinks it's worth more than 50 cents as it has produced such a lovely blossom. Great bargain! Nice results!

    A good choice in picking that one,..or should i say both of them,..beautiful flower,..and certainly worth a lot more than 50 cents,..you did well.

    Thanks All. The color was a surprise when it bloomed, just as much as the yellow one. I had no idea what to expect, but I sure waited for a long time to see a bloom. The price was right to wait, though.

    Two plants in one pot for only 50 cents - WOW!! You obviously have green fingers Carolyn to have brought those plants back from the brink of death. What a beautiful flower. Well done. :-D
