I have not been a member of this forum for very long but I would just like to say a very BIG THANK YOU to the mods FRANK, EILEEN & TONI for their hard work in making it the best Gardening forum I have joined The variety of subjects as well as gardening, the humour, the photos and PlantStew makes it simply the best, not to mention the great number of 'cyber' friends I have made from various corners of the globe. So thank you once again and long may it continue :-D
Thank You I also love being in this cyber family. Can't think of saying it any way, but with a flower.
Awww, such a lovely post Pat. I agree, have been with Gardenstew for ages, and had an absence for a while after my hernia and trying to get my hectic life back on track, but when I returned, I was welcomed back with open arms. You guys are all great! Long may it continue.
Agreed! Franks diligence and skill at keeping this forum going are amazing, and it just wouldn't be the Stew without Eileen and Toni!
I also salute the 3 of you and thanks so much for all my friends I have acquired. There isn't many that can say my friends from my garden forum moved clear across the country to be close to me.Frank and Eileen made it possible and toni joined in later.I now have friends my age to be able to enjoy life with. :-D God Bless You. It will be rockin ages again in my country so come join us.
Thanks you all. Frank is amazing, all the features he has given us to play with, be a part of and learn from and his knowledge of how this 'thing' works and ability to keep it always interesting and fresh. Eileen and I are at times kept busy 'busting' spammers, hopefully before members are bothered by them....but we get to enjoy and learn from everyone too. I think everyone should give themselves a pat on the back because you are all basically kind people, you all give loads of encouragement whether it involves someones new gardening experiences or personal problems, you willingly share your knowledge with everyone and it's because of that our membership is growing and the forum is thriving. So a big thank you to you all too.
I would just like to add my thanks too. Frank has done wonders with GardenStew since it was first launched and I've watched it grow from nothing to the wonderful place it is today. :-D However, without each and every one of you then it simply couldn't, and wouldn't, exist. I think we must be the closest online communities ever. Where else would you find a friend and move house, over hundreds of miles, to be beside them? I'm sure that's a first and it's all thanks to Frank and GardenStew!!! I'd also like to say thank you to Toni who has been such a great friend and moderator. Having one of us in the UK and one in America means that, between us, we can zap all the spammers 24 hours a day!! Many thanks for taking on the extra work when I've been on holiday too Toni - it's very much appreciated.
We have a great community here Stewbies. Did you know it's coming on its fourth year now? We seem to attract very friendly folk who are not just willing to contribute knowledge but also fun stories and words of support. Eileen and Toni do a master job at keeping spammers at bay, it wouldn't be the same without them. I'd like a to re-emphasise the topic title, A BIG THANK YOU to all!
Well, it's late at night here. I finally got on when my partner gave up the compi. I just have to add my thanks to the "Big Three" too. They have put together and monitored this fine site and I feel really content, happy and stimulated by it. The cyber pals that I have come into contact with here is just the topping on the cake. Thanks to all of you too for adding to the coziness and "family feeling " that you give the Stew.
