I had been eating this nice veggie without knowing what excatly is the name since I was a kid. I only know it by its market nick name in Chinese which literally translated is "Husband beat wife veggie". This veggie really "shrink" in volume after cooking because the leaves are kind of a curly when it is fresh. So the husband did not do the cooking and thought that the wife ate most of it while cooking it and so the husband beat the wife because of this. This market nick name must be made up by some very bored veggie seller I guess Brassica?? ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden ) Leaf ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden ) Typical Brassica flower ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden ) A kind of Brassica?? ( photo / image / picture from KK Ng's Garden ) This plant's flowers and seed pods very much resembles that of Brassica and some people call it Curly Brassica. Any help would be most appreciated.
