dr took this butterfly picture so I didn't spoil my record. I just know that no butterfly is going to sit still long enough for me to take a picture of it.

These flowers are at the front entrance to the porch.

Dooley that is a great shot of the butterfly on the zinnias. I once managed to capture a photo of a hummingbird on one of my hanging baskets after sitting there for an hour just waiting. Zinnias and butterflies -a great combination. :smt038 :smt038 :smt038

Nice blooms. Hackberry Butterflies are so much fun to watch flitting around in the Hackberry trees, they can make you laugh on even the worst day.

Nice pictures. The zinnias are looking good. I bought a few and they are all dying. They must like to be dry. Maybe I drown them along with the bad storm and torrential rain we had.

That is a great combination--it says "summer". Those are pretty zinnias.

I am not having very good luck with my zinnias. The weather is not cooperating here...not really any warm weather that has stayed long enough. I even had to put the heat back on because the house was chilly with all the rain we are getting. any tips to help me grow some healthy looking ones?

My zinnia's seem to thrive on neglect this year. I only water them once or twice a week. They get most of the afternoon sun. I couldn't grow them in Arizona so they must like the humidity they get here. dooley

I like your butterfly pics. I feel bad because my Butterfly Bushes are blooming like crazy but we have a shortage of butterflies this year. At least I can look at your pics.
