Either Easter was way early... or these are way late. Either way, they sure brighten up an area.

Remember a few weeks ago when my best friend's daughter needed a pretty backdrop for her college graduation photo? Too bad it wasn't looking like this then.

My "crazy pot" really caught my attention today.

And as I was coming inside for the day, I think I interrupted some "courting".

Well, did you at least avert your eyes when you saw them? ;)
That would make a lovely background for graduation or wedding photos, really pretty.

Easter Lilies you buy at Easter time are forced to bloom in time for Easter. In the ground in real life, they normally do not bloom until April, May or early June depending on where you live.

Well done in caturing those lizards (even if you did interrupt them making out.)
I'm rather envious of those beautiful white lilies as mine won't be flowering for a good while yet.
    Your garden is really lovely.

Nice lilies, I think id like to try some of those next year. I'm going to have to read up on it. And you have such a nice variey on your property. Makes me miss my big yard. :( And everything is so well maintained, its hard to keep up those big properties sometimes. Hope you have a nice day.

I'm excited to see the Lilies in your garden! I was given a beautiful Easter Lily plant this year, and I've followed the directions explicitly so I can plant it and hopefully have lovely blooms in May-June next year, just like yours!

We seem to have an abundance of lizards this year. Now if I can just get the dog to stop terrorizing them.

I think I want to start buying Easter lilies every year and put them around the yard. One of my aunts has them all over... they sure brighten up a bed.

Capt... I think they were too embarrased to pitch insurance policies to me. :D

Cayuga... I have no idea what a asian red lily beetle is. I just looked them up... I haven't noticed anything like that. The page also said "rapidly spread through New England from Eastern Massachusetts and which has been also been found in Northern New York State"... so I guess we don't have them down here (yet).

Laura...It can be alot work keeping everything looking spiffy... fortunately, I love mowing and yardwork. So... it's more like just "out playing in the yard" than it is "work".

Good luck with your Easter Lily Ronni!

    Thanks everyone!

Yuck gnats. We just get bothered in the evening by "no-see-ums" and good ol' mosquitos.
