    The bushtits arrive in good numbers, sometimes 20 at a time. The wren is a loner as I have not seen 2 together, although they did nest in the shrub that this one is standing on.

    Perhaps the wren was born there. I suppose 40 eyes find more food than 2.
    Cute birds, none here unfortunately. I always like your closeups. They can be used for easy identification.

    I have a real soft spot for wrens and have one that visits my own garden every day. It may not be as pretty as your one but it's most welcome here anytime.

    Cute little birds, the Bewicks wren is very similar to our carolina wren.
