It came from a friend's mom.
It's kept in the den/family room.

    It's not very big.

    What is it?
    Doorstop!

The back is cardboard. The bottom is covered with felt. The base is a BRICK!
She sewed the cover onto it somehow so the brick can't be seen.
She was giving away a few. I got this one because she knew I liked flowers.

Cheryl, I think the garden gnomes will be looking for their sofa back. It's cute.

Now that's a really novel idea and I like it!! At first I thought it was an actual couch for your living room until I realised how small it was!! Using it as a doorstop is a lovely idea - much better than some that I've seen around that's for sure.

Around here I'd be worried it would disappear and end up in Barbie and Ken's living room!

That's cute! I think gnomes or Barbie and Ken would enjoy lounging around on that one.
I had a cloth covered brick for several years, I used a pre-quilted fabric to make the removable cover but it wasn't nearly as decorative as yours.

I'll pass along all the kind words to my friend. I wish this one was removable so it could be washed. But oh well... it's cute and works wonderfully.

That's a wonderful idea. I'll try crafting one for my living room door. Hope that will work out well.
