Last weekend Jessica performed at the Royal Albert Hall in a charity concert with the school choir. It meant she had to be at the Albert Hall all day rehearsing, so Mark and I took the opportunity to take James out for the day, so we went to HMS Belfast on the River Thames, and then the Science Museum. In the evening we went back to the Albert Hall to watch the show which was fabulous. Science Museum
Looks like a great day was had by all and what an honour performing at the Albert Hall, thank you for sharing the pictures and glad you had a great day out.
What a fun day out. I'll bet that you folks were really proud of Jessica. The venue was pretty impressive, I must say! I wonder if she'll appear on one of the Proms next year...??? Is that the HMS Belfast there at the foot of 'The Bridge'? I thought that the pics were good inspite of the grayness. There are so many interesting things to see and do in London. Thanks for showing the pics...it took me back a couple of years, when I last visited. That'd be nice, wouldn't it.
Well Janes certainly looks as though he had a whale of a time. That grin of his says it all doesn't it? You must have been so proud of Jessica performing with the choir at such an illustrious venue EJ. What a pity they don't allow piccies to be taken there. I hope they managed to raise lots of money for their charity.
We've got a Stewbie star! I'm glad the concert went well, and I can see that your day out went very well. I'd have loved to tag along, haven't been to London for very long.
Wow, intimidating venue to play in! Looks like a truly stellar day for James, though. Thanks for posting these, it's on my list of "places I'd love to visit but most likely never will"
It must have been a wonderful experience for all. I'm so glad to see those wonderful photos. the only one missing is you. Gardengater
I thought I would never get to London...but thanks to you, I made it. Loved the pictures. It was a great trip.
Mark did sneak a few pics - you can see here there looking and smiling straight at the camera. She had no idea he was taking a snapshot, so lady luck was looking down.
Looks like a good time was had by all Emma, great photos of James & Mark and how exciting for Jessica to perform at The Albert Hall. Good that Mark managed to get a few pics, too good an opportunity to miss.
