One of my co-workers made this. Isn't it adorable?

What a nice idea. It looks good to me. I like unusual and different things.
I think that "adoreable" is just the right word for this little garden.

I think she said there were 2 types of Thyme. And I can't remember the other, but I'm sure it was a herb too.
And that "rock" looks so real. I may have to get one of them one of these days.

That would be an excellent addition to any garden. Clever idea.

I thought that the rock wasreal!! What a lovely idea. The planting is all in proportion to the fairy which makes it even more attractive.

Speaking of that rock....how large is it, does it have a hole for planting and where did she get it? I have been wanting one for a long time. Oh, wait, I just saw the quotes around the word rock ... it looks sooooo real!

She got the "rock" at Lowes for $20. It's made of fiberglass or plastic. She said it was painted just solid gray so she made it look more realistic with her own paint job. It's probably around 2 foot in size and yes there's a hole in it for planting.
As many times as I've been in Lowes I've never seen one. You bet I'm gonna keep an eye out for it now though!

I will be going to Lowe's either tonight or tomorrow for something I'm sure, I'll have to wander the store looking for one. A weekly trip there has become as routine as grocery store trips.

That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I have many little thingies that I may use to duplicate, your friends rock and fairy garden, next Spring. I even have a natural large rock that I probably can use.
