A favorite wildflower.

    I really like this flower, if you look at the left side you will see why it has the common name, Elephants Head.

    Elephant's head/Lousewort/Pedicularis Groenlandica is certainly a beautiful, showy plant (it belongs to the Figwort Family - Scrophulariaceae.) I can see why you like it so much Kildale. The flowers really do look like little Elephants heads. :-D

    Very nice. :D Lots of wildflowers are really beautiful once you get close up and personal with them.

    What a beautiful flower! This is another plant I am not familiar with.(a gardener can always learn something new ;) )
    I'd like to see what the foliage looks like too.
