It looks like you are getting spring in your neighborhood Palustris! I am counting the days until spring
Palustris---beautiful shots of a beautiful garden. I love this early stage in the seasonal life cycle of the garden: the just emerging sprouts, early spring flowers, grass greening up among other plants that are still very dormant. Thanks for your tour. Your gardens are impressive.
It just goes to show that in Britain at least, you can have colour in Winter. And scent, both the Viburnum and the Hamamaelis are aromatic. Not show, but there are other winter flowering shrubs, like Lonicera fragrantissima in the garden too.
Palustris, your garden looks like a heavenly getaway and sanctuary. Such wonderful variety. It is truly a garden for all seasons. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like you're already in the middle of spring! I love your walk-abouts. Everything looks so nice and tidy... and looks about to explode with even more life and color very soon.
I love the path with all the snowdrops, it's amazing. Your gardens are beautiful aready, I can just imagine how they will be once everything has woken up.
GinnyC I agree. Those snowdrops are amazing. It made me realize I don't plant near enough of them. Guess what went on my wish list of the fall?
