    Now I can pick myself up off the floor. All these flowers are new to me. I love them. Must go out and find them. Thanks for exposing me.....

    So I am confused. What zone do they live in?

    Eric never give me your address or you could find bare patches in your garden where those gorgeous Auriculas used to be.

    Primula auriculas of this type do not normally live outside in Britain. Not because they are frost tender, but rather because the rain spoils the flowers which are covered in 'farina'.
    I grow mine in a 'theatre' which protects them. Then in Winter they are moved into a cold greenhouse for safe keeping. They come originally from the Alps so they are fairly winter proof.

    There are hundreds of them. The plant stall at a Fair last week-end had one or two of each and it was FULL!.
    I do have a few more, not in flower yet.
