There is no denying the fact that Autumn isn't far away. My WELCOME garden in the driveway is starting to show off it's fall colors

I love these showy biennials, but they have a way of popping up everywhere! Here they are with my white Echinacea that just won't give up this year!
And behind the last white Phlox bloom
    [IMG]
And guess who's behind the first Canna bloom too
    [IMG]
The Roses are trying to get in another bloom before summers end

The Glads were full of Surprises too...they were all supposed to be Salmon!
The Morning Glory's were very late to bloom this year
    [IMG]
The Honeysuckle Vine is starting to bloom again
    [IMG]
I snapped this Hibiscus bloom in someones garden
    [IMG]
Hosta Plantaginea is finally opening. The scent is heavenly!
My Datura - I planted it in March from a package that said it would be Double Yellow. It's NOT double OR yellow as you can see!

    Texas Red Salvia

    That's all for today.

Oh man, you gardeners in the north are killing me with plant envy. You have plants blooming that I haven't seen hide nor hair of since April when they bloomed here.
I love your WELCOME garden. Everything is just gorgeous.

Mislabeled plant colors seems to be a common occurence lately, quality control is slipping at several growers.

what wonderful colors. I like that datura. Didn't think I'd have any glads this year but mine should be flowering in another week or so. Yours are really pretty. Thanks for sharing those autumn colors.

A few blooms! If that's what you call "a few", then I'd like to see what you call "lots". And yes, I'm green with envy. :D

They're all lovely, I really like the Rudbeckia and the not-salmon glads. The Salvia is a true feast for the eyes, and the roses and everything else is gorgeous too. I'd love to walk about in your garden and smell the scents, it must be divine. Did I mention that the Morning Glory photo is beautiful?
