I take a couple of trips each year to the higher places for the flowers. There is always something new to see. To take a trip there, click Alpine Flowers.

Ahhh now this is one that I'm just going to have to save in my favourites. :-D I love alpines and now I can do a little research and see which ones I can put in my own garden. I already have a few including the Scottish Bluebells - well I would wouldn't I?!! ;) I desperatley want some of those lovely deer cabbages.

Strange that you picked that one as I had a request for that species a week or so ago which said 'NWF Field Guide to Wildflowers being published by Sterling in 2010. We have selected at least one of your photos' They were looking at my web sites as I didn't approach them at all. It may get used. I did work on three books with a couple of guys, we did one each. I did the coastal book, and the deer cabbage went in that one. I had a few in the Mountain book and also the dryland one, but a lot went in the Coastal book.
