Help the birds out and enjoy the winter with a few of these projects. They are easy to follow. Go to this page Restaurant and Feeders, and pick something to do. I enjoyed putting these together.

I've already begun setting up different feeders for 'my' birds. We've had very hard frosts for the last few nights and the food out put out each day disappears quickly. I've bought in a stock of mealworms, nyger seeds and sunflower hearts so far and have made up lots of fat cakes with fruit and nuts in them. The birds really appreciate what we do for them when winter hits as the ground is too hard for them to find worms and the insects all but disappear.

They definitely keep you busy, plus the water. We have the hummingbirds also, and their stuff freezes sometimes.
