The last half of October and now November is a bit hard on me. The energy level is low and I seem to never get things done, which leads to less computer time. That does not mean you're off my mind, mind! Last night proved that, since I had the strangest dream about you all. We were gathered somewhere warm, with rivers and skiing facilities (can't figure out where that might have been. ). There was a camera crew there, to document our activities, and we went canoeing or rafting down a rather narrow, but very slow river. Then we went somewhere with lots of cottages, and kept running in and out to visit and chat. We were going skiing, but I refused since I'm not fond of snow. Capt. Kirk showed up in one of these fancy downhill skiing suits, with a snowboard under his arm and tried to persuade me to join you all. Dreams are all jumbled up, so I coudn't really tell head from toe in this one, but we finally gathered around a big fire to sing and tell jokes, and we really enjoyed ourselves. So if you're all a bit tired today, it's to be expected after such an active day and evening. Sometimes I just have the weirdest dreams!
Awww Droopy - you are just the sweetest. I also feel tired now - BUT a satisfied, happy type of tired after all the fun we had. :-D
I guess that would explain why I feel so thick in the head this morning. I wonder if that ski resort was in Sweden.....all I can remember is alot of laughing and shouts of glögg and skål! ...oh, my poor head........
I know the canoe I was in capsized because of my weight but we all laughed about it and that big fire dried us off quickly!! I just wish I'd gone to bed before 3am as I rather muddled-headed today and I've got so much still to do. Isn't it funny what we dream about? So glad you share yours with us Droopy as it certainly cheers up a dull and rainy day.
I would love to sit around a big camp fire...I didn't smell smokey so I guess I wasn't there. I know I wasn't skiing...maybe in the building enjoying hot chocolate...Sherry
Frank, I don't know. The only people I really "saw" was the Capt. and Sjoerd's wife, whom I've never laid eyes on. But I know you were all there, the nicks and names were mentioned. I just can't remember what you looked like in my dream.
Does sound a little weird, doesn't it Capt?? I am glad we all had a good time though. I am a little 'stove up' this morning!
This topic has me a bit scared now. What are the bets that tonight I dream about any of the following: - A toadly insane Eileen frog hopping after me with the giant Dooley turtle as an accomplice. - Capt Kirk sailing up to my cabin by the sea in a big pirate ship and setting his parrot on me. - Me running down a hill chased by a giant rolling Toni snowball (with a smiley face) Actually I'm not that afraid. I'd probably be saved by a sweet Glenda angel
Dreams I would have been in the cottage gardens snagging some seeds and snipping some cuttings. Thanks for the trip, Droopy. Have some more to brighten up the dull winter, okay? GG
I'm glad I was out having fun. It's much better than spending the night packing boxes and filling trash bags. It must be why I'm getting such a slow start to the day. dooley
Wow, no wonder I couldn't wake up this morning. One of those cabins sounds perfect for a new studio, though! Frank, I hope my bunny makes it to your dream, though he isn't much good a leapfrog, ironically. Everything is always so much nicer with a little bunny to keep one company
I do dream about internet friends now and then, so it's kind of normal in my world. But you were all people, no Egyptian god-lookalike in sight. And you looked mighty good in that tight down-hill skiing suit too!
