Well, thewre was a break in the bad weather, so we went back to the lottie today and I made one of the two gates for the new fence out of a bit of palet that I found. After that we removes the soil out of the greenhouse and replaced it with a mixture of flower garden dirt + aged manure + seaweed + compost. We will let it settle and be rained on (hopefully) for a week or so then we will put in new Tonkin sticks and the window panes...then it'll be ready for business. I know that it doesn't look like much now but it will soon be filling up with plantlets transferred from our windowsills. I expect the very first things to be planted in the greenhouse will be butterleaf lettuce. First the gate: Then the greenhouse Partially emptied: And then filled and ready for settling:

Bet those rabbits were sitting outside the gate looking wistfully at your greenery. Well done with the greenhouse. You've really got spring down there, haven't you?
Thanks Netty. There is some stuff green--a mix of weeds and perinneals heh heh heh. I hope the fence keeps those rabbits out as well. This is about all that I can do now. The lottie shown here is our original one and it 265 m² (a meter is close to a yard) and is only partially shown. It has a wedge shape and I am shooting towards the apex. The second lottie is a plain strip of 100m²---no frills, no thrills. Yes Droopy, spring is setting in, albeit reluctantly. I find that the greenhouse looks messy still and probably won't start to look serious for a few weeks more yet. There is still more work to be done in there before cleaning it up properly.

That was a great idea with the old pallet to reuse that way,, and it looks great too. Looks like you got all undercontrol right now. (plus it looks like you know what your doing,,,running and ducking here) I'm sure it will all come together soon, hope your weather co-operates for you.
Great "green" idea, Sjoerd...a friend of mine made a fence out of alder branches that looks real rustic. She also used chicken wire to ensure that the critters would stay out of her garden.
