A green mushroom.

    Not a lot of these green mushrooms about. I think it is because it changes color as it ages. Here are two shots of this species. You can see why it is called Parrot Waxy Cap, Hygrocybe psittacina.

    I prefer it's colouring before it matures. As you say green mushrooms are so unusual that I think that's what attracts me to it.

    I now have 241 different species of fungi, there are some great colors amongst them.

    looks like a jelly fish on a stem lol very pretty
