Two weeks ago I volunteered to help paint the two large meeting rooms at my Legion Post Hall. Four if us did the north room 2 weeks ago. Did it all in one day. Today we did the south room which is even bigger. We started at 8 am and finished it up at 2:30. I was one tired cookie when we got done. The only break we took was at lunch which lasted for 30 minutes!
Painting is always tiring. It's good you had help. It makes it easier and the company is enjoyable. Aren't you glad it's done though? dooley
Well done, sit down and put your feet up. Voluntary work is often so important for so many people. I'm glad you participated.
Oh I can feel my shoulders and neck aching just thinking about it. Well done CK it's good to know there are still folks out there who are willing to give up their time to help others out.
Did you ache all over?? Painting uses muscles you forgot you had You did a good deed! We should all be charitable like that. If everyone gave a little just think how much better off we would all be Deanna :-D
I was using the roller for about 4 hrs. then me and another guy swapped and I did the low trimming for the rest of the time. Didn't treat myself to anything special.......yet!
