Hi Luke, nice to see you,..wow what a difference there is in your garden now,..and all those babies to be planted as well,..your first Dahlia bloom is a stunner,..as is the Lemon one,..those Gazinia are a lovely flower i think i will get some myself,..i see you have Hollyhocks coming along,..i look forward to seeing them in bloom,..oops for the poor Hydrangea it has had a few very warm days,..i use a three Litres milk container with a small hole in the bottom,..the water comes out slower as the level decreases but it keeps a constant supply of water going,..congrats on the garden you did a lot of work,..it look very well now.
Ahhh so much to appreciate in your garden that it's hard to pick a favourite. I, too, love your Dahlias and wish I could grow them here. Every time I've tried though the earwigs make short work of them.
thanks phillip im really pleased with how things are looking now, the differnce from when i moved in is great . . i too can't wait to see the hollyhocks, a lady a few doors down has some which stand at around 12ft easily, i'll have to get some pics . . and as for my hydrangea, gonna have to move her over to the other side of the garden i think. thanks eileen, i too don't have a favourite yet, but my gazinia is up there. . . my dahlia have been slaughtered by allsorts of creepy crawlies, i was overwhelmed with slugs and snails in all the damp weather . . . . . here is a few more to look at . . . dahlia ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) almost there (dahlia) ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) petunia ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) dahlia ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) petunia ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden ) petunia, dahlia, photinia ( photo / image / picture from lukeypukey's Garden )

Hi Luke.... great to see you back here. I can tell where all your time has been spent... your garden and plants are looking great!
Things there are looking good, mate. I sure did your flowers this thread. Are your flowers peaking just now, or are things in decline there?
Great pic's. That dahlia is a stunning color. You must be a good daddy to have all those babies doing so well under you care.
hi sjoerd, i'd say things are at a peak right now, still plenty of life in them left i feel. all the primula i saved early on in the year are coming back for a second flowering which i wasn't expecting. . . oubee i am very happy :-D thanks tooty2shoes. . im not a bad dad i guess, still waiting on my romneya and anemone to germinate though. i'll be taking the anemone out the fridge on sunday . . . .fingers crossed :-D
