Every morning and every evening this bird is on the wire going behind our house. But, he doesn't like his picture taken. Everytime I get lined up he moves. I wish I had one of those long range lens where he couldn't see me. He does have a beautiful voice though. Not like the wee little bird with the loud voice who wakes me up every morning.

We have birds here that sing in the early morning and again at dusk but they're hard to get photographs of - just like your one. It's really lovely to hear their territorial songs every day. Maybe yours will find a mate a set up home somewhere near you Dooley.

I love hearing the cardinals songs....and to have them visit my feeders. I have noticed the male feeding the female.
