All 14 hanging baskets emptied, cleaned, refilled and planted up!!
Those are the six 40p cyclamen I mentioned in the pots on the table by the way.

The two large planters are also finished.

After planting everything up and tidying the area I'd been using I watered everything thoroughly and guess what - IT RAINED!!! You can actually see the first spots of rain on the slabs. I could have saved myself all that hard work refilling the watering can time and time again.

Wow Eileen you have been a busy lady. What did you plant in the hanging baskets and planters?
I really like your outdoor seating. It is very lovely.

Bailey I've planted up primroses as they over-winter well here. They're multicoloured so they should look lovely when they mature and flower. :-D

Yes Richard I am :( and it looks as though I'm going to be suffering some more as I now have to plant those cyclamen!!! :D :D :D

Goodness, Eileen, 14 hanging baskets are lots of work and they look really good. They will be gorgeous when the plants fill in and bloom.

I don't even have one...but I do have an idea for an unusual one for next year :-D

Eils you're one busy lady, great work. The fruits of your labour will make it all worth it. How long did it take you?

I love primroses Eileen and they will be beautiful when they fill out and bloom.Where will you plant your cyclamen? I've tried them and I think it is just too hot for them here. They are quite lovely also.

Frank, from start to finish, it took me three hours. That time included cleaning them all out though and starting from scratch and then clearing everything up and sweeping the patio. I'm not as young as I was so everything seems to take longer and those bags of organic compost sure are heavy!!! :( Wish my own had been ready to use as it's much better quality than shop bought. Never mind all the more for spring planting. :-D

Bailey you asked where I was going to plant the cyclamen .......... well as my garden is packed full it's a case of wherever they'll fit in!!!! I haven't actually found anywhere for them yet. Maybe I'll chop another bit off Ians lawn. :D :D

My husband actually likes it when I sneak pieces of the lawn for gardens...less grass for him to cut!
You sure were busy today Eileen. I really like that seating too.

You have been busy. I am envious as I can't plant a thing this time of year. It will be months of cold before spring arrives so please keep your pics coming to encourage those of us wil cold winters.
