We missed a frost by a degree or two this morning.

I still have a daylily bloomiing today.

A man put six bee hives on the farm next door. My asters are loaded with bees.

These guys are still blooming, too. I always let the frost kill the foliage.

Canna Lily seed pods. I find these unique.

Just beautiful Don. I particularly like the red and white Dahlia. Sadly the last flower on my Dahlias is ready to drop.

My day lilies are blooming too - but then we still didn't get any frost (I hope I didn't just jinx it).

So nice to have blooms late in the season...I had my last 2 blooms open on one of my daylilys. A daylily that was not a rebloomer....and the rebloomers did not rebloom. It was a nice surprise to see so many extra blooms.... your dahlias are beautiful too...now do you have to bring them in the house for winter?

Those are some great foto's, Don. You still have a great deal of colour there, even though ole Jack Frost is creeping ever closer by.
