Hi, I know some of you use baking powder with your tomatoes. I would like to try too, but I am not sure how much to use and how often. Can anyone help me out with this.

Never heard of baking powder ! I do use epsom salts ! Baking soda is used around tomatoes to sweeten those that may be too acid.

Thanks, I thought Epsom salts and baking powder were the same thing. Google tells me they are not. Baking powder is baking soda. So I guess epsom salt is used for it's magnesium content.

There you go ! Right ! Epsom salts prevents or reduces blossom end rot. You can use about a TBSP on either side about 6 inches from the main stem and it will go to the root as it is watered or rained on ! Or you can do a foliar spray with about a TBSP in a quart of water or a little more and just spray the leaves once every couple of weeks or so !
