http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... D_iSqmypfg Here is a look from above at my state of Nebraska. It's kind of a "fly over" state. You have to live here to fully appreciate it's beauty, and history.
Wow! That was incredible and you have a beautiful state Kay! I have never been to Nebraska or driven close to it. I wouldn't have anticipated the crop irrigation fields. just wow. After reading the post from S-H about how much water it takes to produce a dozen eggs or a slice of pizza puts it into real view. Obviously we all benefit from the irrigation use of water, but that kind of surprised me.
Very cool video. I've never been to Nebraska either was surprised to see such diverse terrain. Beautiful!
Wow! What amazing scenery you have to enjoy. I don't care for the city shots but those magnificent rock formations and mountains are wonderful!
Wow, Makes me wanna go visit on my next vacation. When I drove through it 35 years ago I remember it being very flat. It was a moonlit long night and was awesome.
I just had to share. I think the whole world is beautiful, just in different ways. As a kid, growing up, we went on several Nebraska based vacations, so I have seen most of the state. It has a reputation of being farm country, and is... but so much more. Where I live, the state university kind of drives the economy, and we also have the state capital and government. The interstate cuts through the center, and is a corridor to and from the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Sunrise and sunsets are awesome! Thanks for watching!
I have driven through Nebraska, when we moved from Evergreen, Colorado to south Florida. In my previous life I had some friends who moved there from Kittridge, Colorado. We spent a few days with them in Fullerton, Ne. Don't remember much...that was 40+ years ago but I do remember there was some gorgeous scenery around there.
