People food, yes, but in tiny, tiny bites. I also thing that gnomes are very fond of gnocchi.

They are vegetarians, they love sweet corn and eat it at every meal if they can. The smaller gnomes especially like it because it can be divided into meal size portions. That's why they like peas and beans too. Some call those veggies Mother Nature's own convenience foods for gnomes.
Dandelions are one of their favorite green veggie. They make tea from the leaves. The leaves are chopped up and added to salads. Boil the dried roots for caffeine-free coffee. The flower pedals become wine, they use honey by the way instead of sugar for fermentation. Fresh dandelion roots can be chopped up, lightly fried, then stewed with other veggies to make soup.
    They also like Nettles.

They know the health benefits of foods and when growing, cooking and eating foods they know they are not only getting nourishment to make it through the day but the medicinal qualities that they need to keep in perfect health.

I have a book that explains the history of gnomes around the world and their present life and times..... including a recipe for Dandelion Soup that they really like.

Thank all. Gnomes are slowly returning home. They are shivering in their boots and cussing the weather.

Toni, I need to find that book. Who is the author?
