We haven't named her yet nor do we know where she will be placed but we are very happy with her. Don't you think she will go well somewhere in our garden. She is made of marble. She needs a good bath.
She is now very happy about the mode of transportation that we offered her. She should be very happy to get out of the car at the end of out trip. I did snap a pic of my hubby abusing her in public. It's being held in evidence.
What an unusual garden statue, Ware. I am interested to see how and where you will place it. Perhaps she will look better dirty. It could make her look as if she has been in your garden for a long time. Do you know what I mean? It is something like when you have a brand new pair of white sneakers ....they don't really start looking like a part of you until they become a bit soiled and worn. A shiny new statue may look out of place until it has become weathered.
Yes I agree with all those comments but my comment is...after the 'good bath',what about a 'good feed'!
She doesn't have a filal resting place yet but she has been named. Annabelle Leah. My husband got to name his one sister. We showed her these pictures and she got to name our newest girl. We thought that was only fair.
We have decided to either buy or make a cement pedestal for her. Not to make her appear taller but to give her stability. It must have some sort of a lip in it to hold her upright. Right now as she stands on the ground she can easily be knocked over by wind or a bear. She probable weights over 150 pounds but we wouldn't want her to fall over for it would break her head off. We have 2 large rocks at her feet at the moment to assure that she stays upright.
Very nice and she will be an interesting part of your garden. Good idea to make it more stable so she lasts longer, she should last you many years with the proper care.
