Thank you for the messages. Pleased that you like the website. We have been working on it for 8 years now and we work on it daily. My son is the webmaster and I come up with the ideas and photos. We have 149 people receiving our newsletter.
We have Red Breasted Mergansers here but I've never managed to get a terrific photograph like yours. Ours are rather shy and tend to stay in deeper water making photography a tad difficult. They breed in the north west of Scotland - maybe I'll get a chance to take a photograph if we're up that way.
