I didn't see this kind before. There are a lot of these in the front yard now. I am pretty sure it is a weed, do you know what kind?

It looked like what I have in the yard but not knowing what it was I couldn't help you out. I believe it is Chenopodium album, at least mine is since it has white blooms.

After reading up on it I think I will stop trying to pull it all out...as one website I found said you can dig it, chop it down or better yet use it in dinner. Don't think we will eat it but apparently bird and butterflies love it.

I know it commonly as Lambs Quarters, and yes, I have eaten it! I use it in place of spinach and in stuffed zucchini :)

Yep. lambs quarter. I pick it and put it in my bags of mixed greens that I take to the farmers market. No one has ever asked about it...(It is actually sold as a gourmet salad green if anyone wants to plant and harvest it... at 10.00 a pound you can make good money at it if you have a market in the big city).

It is highly nutritious and actually it is tasty. Pick the tender new leaves and toss them in with your salad and no one will even notice they are eating weeds. :D .
