My wife asked me if they have daylight savings time in Europe? I told her I didn't know. We have it here, in the spring we set our clocks ahead one hour and then set them back in the fall. This next year we will set ahead a week earlier and a week later in the fall. Originally way back, this was done to give the farmers more daylight to work their crops. Now it is done just to give people more daylight period.

Yes we do Capt. I can't remember the exact dates this year (it just sorta creeps up on you) but it sure makes the days seem a lot shorter in the Autumn  especially as you go more northerly.

Yes we put our clocks forward an hour in the spring (around the end of March) and back an hour at the end of October. It'll soon be the shortest day here and then the days will start to get a little longer. :-D
