I took a couple pictures of Chance today. I haven't posted one recently so thought I'd put one here. Chance ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) Chance has been sticking close recently. She is awfully confused by all the trips we've been taking for tests. It generally takes most of the day. We do leave the a/c running and food and water but she is always waiting by the door when we get home. We leave a key with the neighbors and their son comes and lets her out and talks with her a couple times a day. But, it seems like every time I turn around there she is and I almost trip over her. She sleeps across the door so I can't make my escape without her knowing it. Poor dog! dooley
Dooley... I think Chance is just concerned and wants to stick by you to make sure everything is okay. Dogs know when something's amiss. And nothing brightens your day then when they greet you with their tail a'waggin!
Chance shows that she is concerned and yes, she is probably confused with the unusual activity of your trip. Animals have that way about them especially dogs. The dog is probably at her happiest when she sees you return. Jerry
Poor girl she doesn't know what's going on. It's hard to let a pet know that you're going to be back even if your journey takes you away for a whole day. If only we could talk to them and let them know that everything is going to be just fine.
Hi Dooley, i agree with everyone,..Chance detects strange comings and goings and is anxious,..they are so perceptive,..poor thing is worried.
Bless her little heart. She is about the cutest darn dog I've ever seen! I know I've been saying that for years but she is! :-D
What a lovely Chance. Make sure you get your daily recommended loves and licks from her. Proven holistic medicines include pets. Helps depression, anxiety, blood pressure, stress, you name it.
Chance is adorable, but you knew that already! Just give her lots of lovin' while you're home, and get lots of lovin' back (the wet tongue, shedded fur kind of affection).
