Reading plant forums I saw that some people have termite and ant problem in their yard or pots. I use a mix of 50% borax ( a chemical in crystalline form) with 50% sugar, filling small saucers or on aluminum foil under the trees or on my pots, I take care don't get wet (from rains or watering). The above formula I use also against cockroaches in my house and at my storehouse. It works. John from Athens-Greece

Anyone using this that has pets, make sure the boric acid is not harmful to pets. With the sugar mixed in they might find it appealing. I know my sweet tooth dogs would.
