It was a lovely day so I decided to take a stroll with my camera. Coming out the front door and around the corner you see the Hydrangea's starting to put on a show
    [IMG]
Looking to the left, you see the original row of Hosta's behind the garage and they are getting enormous. there are 7 here and next spring I will thin them out and maybe make room for a few new ones.
Looking to the right, more Hosta's. A few of these will need splitting next year too.
Moving on we come to the sea of Daylily's that are in their peak
    [IMG]
Heading to the arbor and the base
    [IMG]

A new Daylily in this bed, 'Charles Johnson' and it is a beauty!
2 unknown Asiatic's here blooming too
    [IMG]

A volunteer tomato growing amid the flowers.
A bit of chaos in the garden, feverfew and butterfly weed at the base of a Ninebark
    [IMG]
The view behind us from the other side of the Ninebark
    [IMG]
Another angle, this time of the back of the house. It seems to be lacking color this time of year, but I think I can fix that with a few more annuals.
    Around the other side
    [IMG]
There is a lovely Maltese Cross blooming beside me
    [IMG]
Almost forgot to show off this 'Scentimental' bloom. This was a gift from my kids last year and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites
    [IMG]
And lets not forget Boomer, she loves walking with me :)

Beautiful!!! Everything is so neat and tidy, I couldn't do tidy if my life depended on it.

If my Hostas get that large I will be thrilled, the plants in the bed with them won't be but it would be nice to see.

I can see why the 'Scentimental' rose is becoming a favorite it is gorgeous.

Boomer is adorable, bet she is a great guard dog too.

Gorgeous home. Love the deck. Those beds are so PRETTY! You have a showcase garden that could easily be featured in a magazine. Thanks for the stroll!

As the others have said you have a wonderful and beautiful garden Netty - one to be proud of that's for sure. Your hostas are gorgeous but how do you manage to keep the snails and slugs at bay? Mine look more like filigreed lace than anything else at the moment. :-|

Netty, Your gardens are very beautiful. They fit in so well together with your home. The views are just wonderful.

It is so nice to get to see different gardens. It gives me ideas and goals along with much pleasure seeing them.

    Thank you.

Eileen, I don't really DO anything to discourage the slugs. I do try to attract lots of birds and there are a lot of toads around. A few of the Hosta's get eaten more than others.

I have nothing more to add other than to support everyone else's words. You have a lovely yard, home and flowers.
