It has been raining since late yesterday, and I was itching to get out and see how the garden was doing after all the heavy rain. I was very glad that I had tied up the Delphiniums! Delphiniums ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) The Veronica was standing proud Veronica ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) As was the Maltese Cross Maltese Cross ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) The blooms are welcoming at the front door ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) I should have staked the Yarrow, as the first bloom was hanging low Yarrow ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) Feverfew and Rose Campion ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) 'Praying Hands' is doing very well this season, and standing tall and proud 'Praying Hands' ( photo / image / picture from Netty's Garden ) This is the second year in this spot for 'Sun Power' and the colors are glowing Even the 'Empress Wu' is getting new growth, happy in it's new location Hydrangeas are setting buds, and there are LOTS of them! The Cabbage Rose that I rescued from a ditch is in bloom The first Daylily is open! Even the veggie garden is happy with all the rain I can't wait to see what happens when the sun comes out and shines tomorrow
I like to look at rain soaked blooms Netty. It makes them slightly more photogenic in my opinion Thanks for posting them.
Every thing looks so fresh and pretty after the rain. I haven't heard of a cabbage rose before but it is beautiful.
